• Swimming, Canoing and Challenge Courses are just a few of the outdoor activites that are available at our neighbor Salmen Scout Reservation, a Boy Scout camp approximately 1 mile away from our facility. For availability and reservations call Vera at Southeast Louisiana Council, 504-889-0388.
• Our second Dormitory Building has been completed. We are now able to accommodate up to 134 people or 28 couples for overnight stays.
• The Pastor Suite is available for Solitary Weekday Retreat getaways. Contact us at 228-697-0786 for pricing.
• Because each of our rooms includes bunk beds and a queen size bed, we are able to accommodate events for individuals, couples or families.

The Encounter Center is a Christian retreat facility for the Gulf Coast. Our mission is to provide an excellent environment in which people are able to set aside the hurried pace of everyday life in order to encounter God.
We strive to provide an excellent facility at which lives can be touched and changed by the power of our Lord Jesus Christ. We appreciate the opportunity to serve by being a part of what God is doing in the lives of His people.
